I love to read. In fact it might be on the verge of an addiction! But I am trying to learn to slow down and take notes. I want to learn to savor the flavor of each book that I read. Therefore I am going to take better notes and then publish them here on this page. I will also publish a short description of the book and why it was or was not important to me. I will also rate the book on a scale of 1 to 100 (Why not 1 to 10? Its my scale I can make it whatever I want haha.) Of course 100 is the absolute best rating and 1 would be the worst.
I am publishing these notes as I hope they are helpful to you but also for my own purposes so that I am able to review my notes from time to time.
I like reading all types of books. If you know of one I should read I would love to hear from you.

The title is misleading for this book. The title makes it sound like another book that Teaches you how to get rich quick. That is not at all what it is about. This book is about running a business that makes people happy. Particularly the customer of the business. It is a quick and enjoyable read about how Derek Sivers founded and then operated CD Baby. Read and enjoy.

Roaring Lambs really opened my eyes to the need for faithful followers of Christ to be out making their voices heard. We should not hide out and keep to ourselves. We should be voices of clarity and truth in the world. Without the voice of truth the world will continue to fall into moral failure. Read this book to be inspired to make your voice heard. This is one of the first books I have read by Seth Godin. His writing style is short and to the point. I really like that. There is no fluff to have to get through. We need less fluff in today’s bloated information age. The vision behind this book is to take initiative. In fact he says that initiative is the currency of the day and those who take the initiative to ship their finished ideas out the door are the ones that will succeed. You will enjoy the information presented in this little book. Take the hour to read it.
